Clipped-Ear Awareness: Support TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return)

Every clipped ear tells a story of compassion.
At Hippy Sunshine, we believe in caring for our community—furry friends included. That’s why we’re proud to launch our TNR Awareness Campaign, a collection of handcrafted, purpose-driven merchandise designed to support Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs and raise awareness about the importance of spaying and neutering.
What is TNR?
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a humane and effective method of managing feral and free-roaming cat populations. Community cats are humanely trapped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and then returned to their outdoor homes. The small clip on the tip of one ear—usually the left—is a universal sign that a cat has been sterilized and is part of a cared-for colony.
TNR helps:
- Prevent unwanted litters
- Reduce shelter overcrowding
- Lower disease transmission
- Allow cats to live healthier, more peaceful lives
It’s not just kindness—it’s smart, sustainable animal care.
Shop to Support
Every item in our Clipped-Ear Collection was created to spark conversation, raise awareness, and give back. Proceeds from each sale will help fund supplies, medical care, and shelter resources for TNR initiatives and local rescues.

Not ready to make a purchase? That’s okay—every bit of support makes a difference. You can make a small donation of any amount, which will go directly toward supporting a local shelter and community cat care.
We work directly with local shelters in our area to ensure that your generosity goes to helping real animals in real need.
Why Spay and Neuter Matters
- One unspayed cat can lead to hundreds of kittens over time.
- Spaying/neutering prevents suffering, disease, and unnecessary euthanasia.
- It reduces roaming, spraying, and aggressive behavior in pets.
- It’s an act of responsibility—and love.

Whether you’re sipping coffee from a mug that spreads awareness, gifting a tote bag to a fellow cat lover, or simply sharing the message—you’re part of a bigger change.
Let’s make the clipped ear as recognizable as the pink ribbon or the puzzle piece—because feral cats deserve love too.
